Having studied at the Rhode Island School of Design,

the Boston Museum School of Fine Arts and the Art Students League, I presently live and work in East Hampton, NY.

I am a member of the American Society of Portrait Artists.  My work is held in private collections throughout the USA.

My goal as an artist is to express my emotional connection to what I see. I use various mediums including oil paint, watercolor, charcoal, ink, and various printmaking and photographic techniques.  I draw my inspiration from the landscapes of the East End as well as other national and international venues.

Using my years of studying color and my own experimentation, I have achieved a uniquely individual approach to formulate the elements of my artwork.  These sensibilities of light, time, motion, space, and passion are communicated through the application and combination of various mediums so that the viewer cannot avoid a visceral response.
